This policy covers the HD Deep Space Live Wallpaper Android app (`com.hddeepspace.wallpaper`) and the marketing site at deepspacewallpaper.com.

The short version

The app has no accounts and no analytics of its own. The free version shows ads in the settings screen (never on the wallpaper itself), served by Google AdMob, which collects device identifiers for that purpose. Upgrading to Pro removes ads entirely. With Pro, the advertising SDK is never initialized and no advertising data is collected. The marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand traffic.

Details

Data we collect ourselves. The Android app has no accounts, no analytics, and no server of ours; we never see your app data. On the website, beta invite requests collect your Google account email and Android device model for Play closed testing. Website visit metrics are handled by Google Analytics as described below.

Website analytics. The marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID `G-6MXV7MYG6C`) to measure page views and basic usage. Google may process device and browser information, approximate location, and interaction data under Google's privacy policy. This applies only to the website, not to the live wallpaper running on your phone.

Advertising (free version only). The free version uses Google AdMob to show a banner in the settings screen and an occasional full-screen ad when you apply the wallpaper. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK collects data described in Google's documentation, typically your device's advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device information. This happens only in the settings app; the wallpaper itself never shows ads. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland you are asked for consent before any ads load, and you can change your choice from the consent prompt. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Pro version. After the one-time Pro purchase the advertising SDK is not loaded at all: no ads, no advertising identifiers, no ad-related network traffic.

Motion sensors. If you enable the optional gyroscope parallax effect, the app reads the device's gyroscope and accelerometer to tilt the camera. Sensor readings are processed entirely on your device, are never stored, and never leave your device.

Settings. Your preferences (chosen view, planet, colors, frame rate, and whether the Pro upgrade is unlocked) are saved in a small configuration file in the app's private storage on your device. It is removed when you uninstall the app and is excluded from device backups.

Purchases. The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app only learns whether the purchase is owned; payment details never reach the app. Google's handling of your payment information is described in the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

Network access. The app makes no network requests of its own. Network activity comes from Google Play Billing (purchases/restores) and, in the free version only, Google AdMob ad serving as described above.

Children. The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; free-version ad serving is handled by Google AdMob under the consent rules described above.

Changes. If a future version ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated and the "last updated" date revised before that version ships.
